The 9575 Extreme is the smallest, lightest and most durable handset Iridium makes — a ruggedised handset made for the world. It rides on the only network with genuine pole-to-pole coverage: 66 cross-linked satellites, no gaps, no regional dependencies. Every unit we sell leaves London with its SIM fitted and registered: power on outdoors and make your first call.
Small and genuinely rugged
Jet-water, shock and dust resistant to IP65 and MIL-STD-810F — the diamond-tread grip is made for gloves and wet hands.
One-touch GPS SOS
A programmable, GPS-enabled SOS button under a protective cap — with online tracking and location-based services built in.
Voice, SMS and short email
Clear two-way calling with integrated speakerphone, two-way SMS and short email — with voicemail quick-connect built in.

Iridium is the only network with complete global coverage — including both polar regions — because its 66 satellites talk to each other rather than to regional ground stations.
Service is disabled in North Korea (US trade embargo). Some countries restrict possession or use of satellite equipment — check with the destination's embassy before you travel.
