Rental agreement
The rental contract between you and Callmonitor Limited (trading as Satphone.co.uk).
1. Parties
This agreement is between you (the Renter) and Callmonitor Limited, registered in England 03844878 (the Supplier).
2. The kit
The Supplier rents the device(s), accessories, SIM and airtime described on the confirmation. The Supplier retains ownership at all times.
3. Period
The rental runs from the start date on the confirmation until the date the kit is returned to the Supplier's premises. Late returns are charged at the standard weekly rate, pro-rata.
4. Charges
The Renter pays:
- Rental fee for the period
- Activation fee (per SIM)
- Airtime — either a pre-purchased bundle or post-paid usage at the published rates
- Refundable deposit (returned within five working days after kit return)
- Optional damage waiver, if elected
5. Use
The Renter agrees to:
- Use the kit in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
- Take reasonable care of it
- Not use it in any unlawful way, or in breach of UK, EU or US sanctions
- Notify the Supplier immediately of any loss, theft or significant damage
6. Loss or damage
The Renter is liable for the replacement cost of any kit lost, stolen or rendered beyond economic repair. The optional damage waiver reduces this liability for non-criminal loss; theft, gross negligence and intentional damage are not covered.
7. Airtime usage
Post-paid airtime is billed at the published per-minute, per-SMS or per-MB rate. Pre-purchased bundles do not refund unused capacity.
8. Returns
The Renter sends the kit back to the Supplier using the prepaid label provided. The Renter retains proof of postage. Title and risk pass back to the Supplier on receipt.
9. Liability
Subject to applicable law, the Supplier's liability under this agreement is limited to the amount paid by the Renter. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Cancellation
Cancellation before dispatch: full refund less a £25 admin fee. Cancellation after dispatch: no refund of rental for the first week, but airtime and deposit refunded subject to receipt of the kit.
11. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
