Iridium GO! — firmware
Iridium GO! firmware can be updated over WiFi via the Iridium GO! app, or wired via USB. The over-the-air method is preferred.
Over-the-air update
- Connect to your GO! unit’s WiFi network from a smartphone with the Iridium GO! app installed
- Open the app — if an update is available, the app will offer it
- Place the unit on AC power and follow the on-screen prompts
- Do not disconnect or power down during the update
Wired update
For older units or when the over-the-air option isn’t available, Iridium provides a Windows updater that uses the supplied USB cable.
