Firmware updates for the Iridium 9555 handset. The 9555 is a long-lived device and most firmware updates address minor compatibility and battery issues.
Checking your version
From the 9555 home screen:
- Menu → Setup → About
- Note the Software version
How to update
Use Iridium Update Manager on Windows with the supplied USB cable. The process is the same as for the 9575 Extreme — installation, connection, follow prompts, do not interrupt.
