Who we are
Satphone.co.uk is a trading name of Callmonitor Limited, registered in England, company number 03844878, with registered office at 207 Regent Street, London W1B 4ND. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site.
What we collect
When you contact us, place an order or activate a service, we may collect:
- Contact details — name, email, phone, postal address, organisation
- Billing details — payment card last-four, billing address, invoice details
- Order and service data — devices, SIMs, plans, support tickets
- Communications — emails, call recordings, support transcripts
- Website data — anonymised analytics, cookie preferences
We do not buy personal data from third parties.
Why we collect it
- To fulfil your orders and provide ongoing service
- To bill you and meet our legal accounting obligations
- To provide support and resolve issues
- To send transactional emails and required service notifications
- To send occasional product updates if you’ve opted in
Lawful basis
We process personal data on the basis of:
- Contract — to fulfil orders and provide service

How long we keep it
- Order and account data: for the duration of the service, plus seven years for accounting and tax records
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it
- Support tickets: typically three years for warranty and reference
Who we share it with
- Operators (Iridium, Inmarsat, Thuraya, Globalstar) — to provision airtime
- Couriers (DHL, UPS, Royal Mail) — to ship orders
- Payment processors (Stripe and similar) — to process payments
- Cloud providers for hosting and email
- HMRC and other regulators where legally required
We do not sell, rent or otherwise commercialise personal data.
International transfers
Our suppliers may process data outside the UK and EEA. Where we transfer data internationally, we use UK GDPR-approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

- Rectify inaccuracies
- Erase data (subject to legal retention)
